Q. What is wellbeing support?
A. The Student Support system aims to help students maximise their potential and achievement throughout their ACM journey.
Our team is experienced at providing advice and guidance relating to issues that students may face during their studies.
In addition to providing pastoral support we operate a student referral system to signpost those with specific needs to appropriate internal and external support services.
The service we offer is discretionary and free.

Q. How do I request counselling?
A. This service offers up to 10 sessions with a trained Counsellor with whom students can discuss issues that are troubling them in a safe, supported and confidential environment. This service is completely free.

Q. What is Big White Wall
A. As part of our commitment to ensuring that we meet the mental health and wellbeing needs of our students we have developed a partnership with Big White Wall.
Students are able to register for an account using their ACM email address and have access to this service.
Big White Wall is a free, anonymous and non-judgemental online environment supporting your mental health and wellbeing. The services offers support for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship problems and lifestyle challenges.
The service provides 24/7 online peer and professional support from trained counsellors. Big White Wall provides a safe space online to get things off your chest, explore your feelings and learn how to improve and self-manage your mental health and wellbeing.
This service is completely free.
