To join your Zoom classes you need to be logged out of all other gmail accounts, and into your ACM email account.


1. Log out of all other Gmail accounts.

Sign out on your computer

  1. Open Gmail.
  2.  In the top right, click your photo or the letter where your photo should be.
  3.  Click Sign out of all accounts.


Sign out from another computer


If you forgot to sign out of your email on another computer, you can remotely sign out of Gmail.

  1. Open Gmail.
  2.  In the bottom right corner, click Detailsand thenSign out all other web sessions.


We have found that this is not an issue for mobile users.  However, the user experience on mobile devices is poor compared to Computer / Laptop.


2. Sign in to your ACM Gmail account.

3. Return to your Zoom class link and try entering the class again.


Only @my.acm.ac.uk email addresses will be able to sign in, and you should receive a warning if you try to use a non-ACM account.


You may need to register for classes.  This is just like taking attendance.  Use your ACM email address.


Please use Google Chrome to access your sessions, as this is the recommended browser for Canvas. DO NOT use Safari. This may also resolve any issues you are having.
