Once your application has been successfully assessed, Student Finance will write to you to confirm.  This will also be updated in your online account.

Once you received confirmation from them, we will be able to see your application on the Student Finance portal. 

We can then confirm your registration and attendance. 

Once we confirm registration, you should receive your maintenance loan payment from Student Finance within 3-5 working days.

The length of time it takes Student Finance England to assess depends on when your application has been sent in.  It usually takes around 6 weeks, but this can be longer during busy times or if they require further evidence from you.
